113. Jyothi darisanam

Verse 113

பாரடங்க உள்ளதும் பரந்தவானம் உள்ளதும்
ஓரிடமும் இன்றியே ஒன்றிநின்ற ஒண்சுடர்
ஆரிடமும் இன்றியே அகத்துளும் புறத்துளும்
சீரிடங்கள் கண்டவன் சிவன்தெரிந்து ஞானியே!

Translation:

That contains the world within, that which remains in the expansive sky,

That effulgence which, without being in a specific place pervades everything,

That which is present inside and outside without a specific locus,

The one who knows all these exalted places is the wise who knows Śiva.

Commentary:

The Absolute is all-pervasive, all inclusive and everlasting effulgence.  The one who realizes this is truly wise.  He is the one who knows Śiva.

இறைவனின் ஜோதி உருவைக் குறித்து அமைந்துள்ள இப்பாடல் அந்த ஜோதி உலகம் முழுவதும் விரவியதாக வானத்தில் பறந்ததாக ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட இடம் என்று இல்லாமல் உள்ளது. அது அனைவரது அகத்துள்ளும் புறத்துள்ளும் ஒளிவிடுகிறது.  இந்த ஜோதி தரிசனத்தைப் பெற்றவன் இறைவனையே சிவனையே தெரிசித்த ஞானியாவான்.
