19. Conches- two, blow horn- one..

Verse 19

Translation:
Conches are two; blow horn is one, finely knit. So
The world is dimming and dying, how many humans!
Avoiding the conches if you are capable of blowing the horn,
Living together with the consort of the lady will occur.

Commentary:
This verse is an example of the Siddhas' twilight language. The conches correspond to the two meridians iḍa and pingala and the blow horn is the suṣumna nādi.  A nādi is a fine energy channel through which various signals pass. Normally the breath starts from the muladhara cakra and flows either through the ida (channel of the moon) or pingala (channel of the sun) depending on the time of the day and the day of the month besides other physical and mental factors.  This flow affects a person's health and behavior.  Instead, if the breath can be made to flow through the central meridian, the sushumna, then both the halves of one's body is balanced. The fire of kundalini rises through this channel and burns the fruits of one's actions.  It also burns the semen and gives a glow to the body (otherwise, one's body grows dims and withers away).  Supreme consciousness ensues and one remains with the Divine, the Siva the consort of the lady, Sakti or kundalini.
