94. Like the seed of the banyan tree...

Verse 94

ஆலவித்தில் ஆல் ஒடுங்கி ஆலமான வாறுபோல்

வேறுவித்தும் இன்றியே விளைந்துபோகம் எய்திடீர்

ஆறுவித்தை ஓர்கிலீர் அறிவிலாத மாந்தரே

பாரும் இத்தை உம்முளே பரப்பிரம்மம் ஆவிரே!

Translation:

Like the banyan tree, concealed in a banyan seed, growing as a banyan tree,

Without another seed, you grow and attain bliss,

You have not contemplated the six centers, you ignorant fools,

See this within you, you will become Supreme Divine.

Commentary:

The potential of becoming a banyan tree is hidden and stored within a banyan tree seed.  One can never guess that such a huge tree can come from such a small seed. Our seed is the Divine, the universal consciousness.  It remains in the seed, kundalini sakti.  We do not realize and utilize its potential to become the supreme pleasure, the ultimate bliss.  We do not contemplate the seed of the six/ six seeds, the power centers, mūlādhara, svādishtana, manipuraka, anāhata, viṣuddhi and ājñā.  Hence, we are fools. Kundalini sakti is the seed for the six centers where expansion of consciousness occurs.  The six centers are the seeds that confer this expansion of consciousness.  Civavākkiyar advises us to realize this to become the Supreme Divine.

ஆல மரத்தின் விதையில் பல ஆலமரங்கள் மறைந்திருக்கின்றன என்று ஒரு பழமொழி உண்டு.  அதாவது ஒரு ஆலவிதையை விதைப்பதன் மூலம் எதிர்காலத்தில் பல ஆலமரங்கள் தோன்றக்கூடிய சாத்தியக்கூற்றை ஏற்படுத்துகிறோம்.  மேலும் அந்த விதையில் அத்தனை ஆலமரங்கள் ஒளிந்திருக்கின்றன என்று ஒருவரால் நேரிடையாகப் பார்க்க முடிவதில்லை.  அதேபோல் நமக்கு விதையாக இருப்பது பரம்பொருள், பரவுணர்வு.  அது குண்டலினி சக்தியாக நம்முள் உறங்குறது.  அது எழுப்பப்படும்போது உச்ச இன்பமாகப் பரிமளிக்கிறது.  அதன் நிலைகளான ஆறு ஆதாரங்களை நாம் கண்ணால் காண்பதில்லை.  இதை அறியும் ஒருவர் பரப்பிரமமாகவே ஆகிறார்.
