119. It will reach Siva and kill each other, it will reach Sakti and eat each other...

Verse 119

உயிருநன்மை யால்உடல் எடுத்துவந்து இருந்திடும்!
உயிர்உடம்பு ஒழிந்தபோது ரூபரூப மாயிடும்
உயிர்சிவத்தின் மாயைஆகி ஒன்றைஒன்று கொன்றிடும்
உயிரும்சத்தி மாயைஆகி ஒன்றைஒன்று தின்னுமே

Translation:

Atma will take a body due to good karma and remain here,

When the body is destroyed, that which had a form will become formless,

Atma will become the maya of Śiva and kill each other

Atma will become Śakti’s maya and eat each other.

Commentary:

An unrealized atma will take a body that commensurates with its karma, good or bad, and come into this world.  Civavākkiyar says that being born in this world is good and not bad.  It is only because of good karma that we are born in this world as otherwise we will not get a chance to work out his karma.  This world is called karmabhumi or the playfield of actions. Some of the ancient works say that the Devas and Gandarvas are jealous of the mortals in the world as the Devas and Gandarvas can only enjoy the benefits of their karma, they cannot work out their karma unless they are born into this world again.

 When the body falls, the soul which had a form until then will become formless. The soul will then become the creative power of Śiva and kill its the previous existence, as limited form and become existence in another plane, the unlimited formless form.  The soul will become the creative power of Śakti, the active part of the Lord. It will kill/eat its previous active form and take up an inactive form.

தனது புண்ணிய பாவங்களுக்கு ஏற்ப ஒரு ஆத்மா ஒரு உடலை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு இந்த உலகினுள் வருகின்றது.  இவ்வுலகில் பிறப்பது தீமையில்லை நன்மையே என்கிறார் சிவவாக்கியர் ஏனெனில் இவ்வுலகில் ஒரு பிறவியை எடுத்தால் தான் ஒருவரல்ல தனது கர்மத்தைத் தொலைக்க முடியும்,  அதனால்தான் இவ்வுலகம் கர்ம பூமி எனப்படுகிறது.  பல நூல்கள் தேவர்களும், கந்தர்வர்களும் இவ்வுலகில் உள்ளவர்களைக் கண்டு பொறாமைப் படுகின்றனர் ஏனென்றால் தமது புண்ணியத்தால் தேவ பதவியையும் கந்தர்வர்களாகவும் பிறவி எடுத்தவர்களால் தமது கர்மத்தின் பலனைத் தான் அனுபவிக்க முடியும் தமது கர்மத்தைக் கழிக்க முடியாது. 

இவ்வாறு தான் எடுத்த உடலைவிட்டு உயிர் நீங்கினால் அந்த உயிர் உருவ நிலையிலிருந்து அருவ நிலையை அடைகிறது.  அப்போது அது சிவனின் மாயையை, படைப்புச் சக்தியை அடைந்து தனது பழைய இருப்பை அழித்து புதிய இருப்பைப் பெறுகிறது.  அது சக்தியின் மாயையை அடைந்து தனது பழைய செயல்பாட்டுடன் கூடிய உருவைத் தின்று செயலற்ற அருவ உருவத்தைப் பெறுகிறது
