122. Being one with the Lord who merged with the eight measures/thoughts..

Verse 122

விண்கடந்து நின்ற சோதி மேலை வாசலைத் திறந்து

கண்களிக்க உள்ளுளே கலந்து புக்கிருந்தபின்

மண்பிறந்த மாயமும் மயக்கமும் மறந்துபோய்

எண்கலந்த ஈசனோடு இசைந்திருப்பது உண்மையே!

Translation:

When the effulgence that is beyond the space, seeing it by opening the door on the top,

And remains merged within-for the eyes’ relish,

Forgetting the magic of birth of/in the world and maya/delusion

Remaining in harmony with the Lord who merged with the eight measures is true.

Commentary:

When aspirant prefects his yogic practices, the Divine grace enters his body through the sahasrara.  This is not a quiet, unconscious event.  The individual soul enjoys this occurrence with full consciousness.  At this stage, all forms and individualizations disappear.  The world ceases to exist in its current form and a new vision dawns; illusions and delusions disappear.  The aspirant is never born again.  He remains in harmony with the Absolute who entered his ‘eight measure’- body and merged within him. eṇ means both number as well as thoughts or eṇṇam.

ஒரு யோகி தனது சாதனைகளில் தேர்ச்சியுரும்போது இறையுணர்வு அவரது உடலினுள் சஹாஸ்ரார சக்கரத்தின் மூலம் நுழைகிறது.  அது சத்தமில்லாமல் ஒருவர் அறியாமல் ஏற்படும் உணர்வல்ல.  ஒரு ஜீவாத்மா இந்த உணர்வை முழு விழிப்புணர்வுடன் அனுபவிக்கிறது.  இந்த நிலையில் எல்லாவித இருமைகளும் மறைந்துவிடுகின்றன.  உலகம் முன்பு இருந்த நிலை மறைந்து புதிய காட்சிகள் புலப்படுகின்றன, மயக்கங்கள், கானல் நீர் போன்ற மாயத் தோற்றங்கள் மறைந்துவிடுகின்றன.  அந்த யோகி மீண்டும் பிறப்பதில்லை.  அவர் தனது எண்சாண் உடலினுள் புகுந்த இறைவனுடன் ஒன்றான நிலையில் இருக்கிறார்.   

எண் என்பது எட்டு என்றும் எண்ணம் என்றும் பொருள்படும்.  இறைவன் ஒருவரது எண்சாண் உடலினுள் புகுந்து அவரது எண்ணமாகிறான்.
