Verse

Translation:
Kindling
fire daily pouring ghee,
Those
who bath willingly in sacred waters, please listen to the words of Veda
Fire
and water are within you, if you are capable of realizing this and saying so,
Associating
with the contraction-less effulgence occurs eternally!
Commenatary:
In this verse Civavākkiyar ridicules the
practice of performing yagas, yagñās, bathing in sacred waters without true
understanding. He brings to focus the Vedic
statement that the fire and water are within us. The fire is the fire of the kundalini the supreme effulgence and the water are the fluids within us. The ultimate sacrifice or worship ritual is offering ourselves to the supreme consciousness. This is true yagna, yaga.
GOOD I LIKE THAT MY DEAR SIVAVAKKIYAR
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. Please let me know what you think about the summary. I was amazed by the structure that emerged while I was summarizing the first thirty verses.
