69. Can remain as youth eternally...

Verse 69

மூலநாடி தன்னிலே முளைத்தெழுந்த சோதியை

நாலுநாழி உம்முளே நாடியே இருந்தபின்

பாலனாகி வாழலாம் பரப்பிரமம் ஆகலாம்

ஆலம் உண்ட கண்டன்ஆணை அம்மைஆணை உண்மையே

Translation:

The effulgence that emerges and rises in the prime meridian,

After holding it for four measures of time inside, seeking it,

Can live as an eternal youth, can become the Supreme Being

This is true, swear by the one with poison consumed neck and the Mother.

Commentary:

In this verse Civavākkiyar talks about the esoteric practice of raising the kundalini śakti through the suṣumna nādi and retaining there for a particular time period.  This confers youth on the practitioner, raises him to the level of Supreme consciousness.  Civavākkiyar declares that this is true.  He swears by Lord Śiva and Śakti or Kundalini Śakti who is also called “the mother”.

இப்பாடலில் சிவவாக்கியர் குண்டலினி சக்தியை சுழுமுனை வழியாக ஏற்றி அதை ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட நேரம் சஹாஸ்ராரத்தில் இருத்துவதைப் பாடுகிறார்.  இப்பயிற்சியினால் ஒருவருக்கு இளமையான சரீரம் ஏற்படும். அவரது விழிப்புணர்வு எல்லையற்ற, அனைத்தையும் உள்ளடக்கியதாகும்.  இது உண்மை என்று ஆலமுண்ட கண்டனான சிவனின் மீதும் தாயான வாலையின் மீதும் ஆணையிட்டுக் கூறுகிறார். ஆலமுண்டது என்பது மடைமாற்றலின் மூலம் விந்துவின் போக்கை மாற்றியதைக் குறிக்கும்.
